After two beautiful years of baking and sharing my sourdough with all of you, I’ve decided to PAUSE my bakery for the spring & summer.

These past two years have brought me so much joy — creating bread you loved, connecting with this wonderful community, and doing what lights me up. I’m endlessly grateful for every order, every kind message, and every loaf that found a happy home.

As we head into the busy end of the school year, sports, activities, and summer ahead, I’m choosing to slow down to be fully present with my kids during this season. I’ll be stepping back from baking until school starts back up in September, when things settle into a new rhythm.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love and support you’ve shown me and my little bakery. It’s meant more than I can say. I can’t wait to fire up the oven again in the fall and bake for you once more.

The Sourdough Alchemist is a home-based micro-bakery in San Carlos, San Diego, California, specializing in artisan sourdough bread and baked goods. I’m a registered Cottage Food Operation with the San Diego County Department of Environmental Health and Quality, ensuring compliance with local health and safety standards.​

Bread & cookies are freshly baked most Tuesdays.

Pick-up available the same day between 4:00–7:00 PM.
